Ouders van Nu is the leading brand in the Netherlands regarding expert information on everything kids & parenting. (Soon to be) parents turn to Ouders van Nu’s magazines, website, forum and social media for information, entertainment and recognition of the everyday struggles/joyful moments with young children.

Back in early 2019 I’ve been hired by Ouders van Nu to refresh the look of their social media. I’ve been working with them ever since; making animations to promote their products, making illustrations to accompany their on- and offline magazine articles and design campaigns (alongside their lovely Art Director Saga Soborg).

  • social posts

    The Instagram- and Facebookpages of Ouders van Nu act as social hubs for many (new) parents. I’ve been working on the overall look of the pages and design of the individual posts.

  • Illustration

    I’ve made numerous illustrations to accompany their on- and offline articles. Sometimes informational (the physical changes the body goes trough before/after childbirth, how to carry your baby in a sling..). Sometimes solely for decoration purposes.

  • Animation

    National holidays, celebrations or campaigns are often honoured with an animation: something with a little more stopping power (to stop the mindless scroll) than your regular posts.
